We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead our collections strategy and operations across diverse regions. This critical leadership role involves managing high-value collections, ensuring portfolio quality, and driving recovery in 500+ DPD (Days Past Due) accounts while mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust collection strategies for accounts in the 500+ DPD category.
  • Oversee the management of collections teams across multiple zones, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to targets.
  • Utilize legal frameworks and risk mitigation techniques to improve collection efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, legal partners, and external agencies.
  • Monitor regional performance and adapt strategies to address cultural and regional diversity effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high ethical standards in all collection activities.
  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining processes and leveraging technology to enhance recovery rates.
  • Provide leadership in handling escalations and resolving conflicts under high-pressure situations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in collections, with a strong focus on managing 500+ DPD accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of collection strategies, legal frameworks, and risk management practices.
  • Proven track record in managing diverse teams and delivering results across multiple regions or zones.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regional and cultural nuances in collections.
Location: Flexible, with pan-regional travel requirements.
